We needed to add another night at short notice on a busy weekend, and the host and receptionist worked hard to arrange it. Everyone was kind, answered our questions, and shared local tips for restaurants and beaches. The rooms were clean and the price felt fair for what we got. Getting around was easy from here. Many places are within walking distance, and both the bus and metro stops are nearby. I stayed at Hotel Villa Caterina in Rimini for a few nights, and the service was absolutely great. I’d definitely recommend it.

I didn’t feel safe staying there after the owner became aggressive. He wanted to keep my passport until checkout instead of just taking the details and returning it. When I wouldn’t let him hold it overnight, he kicked me out despite my reservation. I called the police, who told him he couldn’t keep my passport overnight. I chose to stay somewhere else and accept losing the reservation money.

We had a great three-day stay. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by, and the city centre is a 15-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly, and the boulevard is nearby, with the sea just a couple of minutes away.

They wanted to keep my passport overnight because they didn’t want to check me in straight away. I refused because leaving it overnight felt dangerous, and the owner kicked me out. Thanks to the Italian police. The check-in time wasn’t clear, and since it was called a “HOTEL,” I expected someone to be at the desk when I arrived around 10 pm. The owner or desk person had a really RUDE attitude. Please be careful choosing this place if your security and safety matter to you.

Even when breakfast was included in my online booking, the manager insisted on an extra 7€ per person. And if you book an AC room, expect to pay another 8€ for the remote control. The owner and staff are rude and seem to blame you for everything. Staff didn’t know the answers to basic questions and called the manager, who then shouted at me for bothering him with small things. Book here if you want to be insulted.
