It felt more like a roomy studio than a hotel. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The industrial-area location is fine if you're traveling for work. Breakfast was basic and the Wi-Fi very slow, but it was good value overall.

The rooms felt spacious, and ours looked out over the countryside. The big drawback is getting around: Mantua is about a 15-minute drive, public transport connections are poor, and there's very little nearby. Having a car makes a big difference. I rated the stay so highly because the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast wasn't included, but they supplied it on both days the bar downstairs was closed, with lots to choose from. They also called right away when I accidentally left a bag on the doorstep. And when my underage daughter had to travel to Mantua alone one day, they drove her so she wouldn't have to take the bus. They really went beyond their duties.
