The restaurant is one of the best, and there’s a pleasant spot beside it to relax during the day. The bar has a nice atmosphere as well. In the morning, breakfast is very good, with a sea view. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely equipped, including a good bathroom, and the Wi-Fi works okay. The hotel sits right at the top of the road down to the sea. Parking is available, and there’s also a free bus to the beach.

The rooms are inexpensive and compact, but there’s enough room if you’ll be out exploring most of the time. The friendly staff, lovely decor and beautiful garden are all good reasons to stay. Breakfast is included in the room price, and the solid buffet on the terrace makes a great start to the day.

The restaurant overlooks the bay and serves tasty food. We also liked our sea-view room and its authentic decor, and the setting is quiet, surrounded by nature. At the panoramic bar, the sunset is amazing, and after dark you may spot wild animals. Staff are welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. Optional extras include a shuttle, e-bikes to rent and massages. It’s quite far from Portoferraio, about a 45-minute drive, so we recommend coming by car.
