The owners were genuinely kind and helpful, and the room itself was fine. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need. Still, we all slept poorly: the pillows were completely worn out and practically unusable, and the sofa bed was past its best too. The hotel’s location is excellent, but the stay didn’t quite meet our expectations. The sauna only runs from 5 to 8 PM, apparently because of low occupancy. That felt restrictive, especially on days when we weren’t skiing and would have liked to use it earlier. Better sleeping arrangements and a more useful sauna schedule could make this a really good place.

Our reservation experience was very poor. Monika from the reservations department came across as unserious and, at the very least, unprofessional. The whole approach felt very unprofessional.

A lovely mountain escape. The hosts were warm and great fun to spend time with at their bar in the evenings.

Good value for the location. The place was clean and spacious, with very kind staff and a small but pleasant spa. Breakfast is available on demand, and the ski bus stops right in front of the hotel, about a three-minute ride to the Miara gondola.

The room was cozy and really nice, and the kitchen worked very well. It was fully equipped, even with a dishwasher. The beds were a bit too firm for me, though, and I didn’t get to try the hotel breakfast. The owner was hospitable, but not especially so. She gave a welcome drink to guests who arrived well after us and didn’t offer us one. I also wasn’t happy to find out the Wi-Fi cost extra, since that wasn’t mentioned when we were given the password. The extra charge for a baby cot was clear from the start of our email exchange, so that wasn’t a surprise. All in all, the price was good for the season and the residence’s location.
