Hotel Olympia

Leaving this place has made me sad. They somehow made a dream come true for us, even one we hadn’t realized we wanted. The spa was a lovely surprise, and I only wish we’d tried it sooner. This hotel keeps its passion going every day, which feels rare now. I recommend it highly. The family who owns the hotel is so kind and charming, and their daughter is the one who seems to run everything. From the first day, we could see the management had a quirky side. The young woman who welcomed us became the gem of the place. She handles everything from breakfast to the bar and dinner, and she’s so thoughtful about every detail. Her little flower messages at breakfast even brought tears to my eyes. I loved the way she makes cocktails. As I remember saying, “she doesn’t just make cocktails, she makes dreams come true.” She shared her world with us in such a passionate, distinctive way. I hope she reads this and knows how much I enjoyed meeting her. I hope she keeps growing that world and protects it. Sharing it is a gift. The original decor makes the stay feel special, and our room had what seemed like one of the best views of San Vigilio. The place is extremely clean despite welcoming dogs. They love animals, remembered my dog’s name, and let her be herself, which was such a delight for me as a dog mom. The photos and description hadn’t prepared me for how good it was. As a local guide, I almost never say this, but it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had. Thank you for a phenomenal stay. Please keep that passion.
