The location and breakfast are the positives. Dinner seemed aimed more at the large groups of German or Swiss tourists than at Italians. This definitely isn't a four-star hotel.

We had a terrible experience with theft. Reception was rude when we reported it and said we must have misplaced our things.

I came here on vacation with some dear friends, and the hotel stood out for its elegance and attention to detail. The welcome from the whole staff was very helpful, and being able to pay the remaining balance on the spot was convenient. The rooms weren't especially large, but they were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast had lots of choices and was excellent. I didn't get to try the restaurant because we always ate out. The bicycle service being included in the price was handy, too. I hope to come back soon!

The dining room and bar staff were friendly and attentive whenever we needed something, and the elevator made getting to the upper floors easy. We chose a superior room on the second floor, with a sea-facing balcony. Watching both sunrise and sunset from there was fantastic. It had a table, chairs, and a drying rack. Inside, the room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and carefully equipped, with a TV and mini-fridge. The bathroom was roomy too, with a large shower and lots of thoughtful extras, including body lotion and a little pouch with a shower cap, sewing thread, a nail file, and other things. It was a kind touch that's hard to find. Beach towels were provided free and changed every four days. We were on half board. Breakfast was a generous international buffet with sweet and savory choices, while coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and similar drinks were served at the table. At dinner, you could choose from appetizer to dessert, with seafood and meat options. We preferred the seafood. There were two appetizer choices and four choices each for first courses, main courses, and desserts. Everything was tasty, plentiful, and nicely presented. The seafront location is excellent, and we got a warm welcome when we arrived. Irene at reception explained all the details of the stay, from the schedule and available bikes to the partner beach. This hotel deserves its five stars. We'd definitely recommend it and return.
