Piero and Raffaella were so kind and accommodating. They let us check in early, helped with restaurant bookings, and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. They even welcomed us with two bottles of wine. The apartment is beautiful and very clean, just a couple of blocks from the Duomo. There's loads of room for the three of us, with my wife and 13-year-old son, including two bedrooms, two full baths, a kitchen, and a washing machine. Florence was really hot, but the AC kept the apartment perfectly cool. We had a wonderful stay and I'd return in a heartbeat.

We spent some wonderful days in the apartment. It's quiet, spacious, and really nice, with perfect beds and a view of the Duomo right from bed. Everything in the city is a short walk away, and the train station takes about 15 minutes on foot. Piero and Raffaella took great care of us and had plenty of tips and suggestions. Loved it!

The view from the living room and master bedroom was a dream, with the Duomo right there. I love Brunelleschi and the genius in his work, so sharing that view with my family felt amazing. The kitchen opened onto an Italian courtyard, and the place had original art, eclectic touches, and modern furniture. The beds were made beautifully with clean sheets. This was our first Airbnb and I was nervous, but I spent two months looking for the right place for my partner, our two kids, and me, and we found it! Piero was attentive and helpful, and gave us great food recommendations. We had a really good interaction with him, something we wouldn't have had in a hotel room. Florence is full of amazing art and people. I mean full! Italians live a happy, carefree life, they don't judge, they live freely. We rented bikes and got everywhere in minutes, and ate amazing food. I'd recommend Piero's place 100%. Get your museum tickets ahead of time, and always schedule a taxi back to the airport, don't listen to companies that say otherwise. Have fun! We won't travel any other way.

Piero's recommendations, insights, and short walking tour made our time in Florence so much richer. It's a magical city, and we're sad to leave, though already looking forward to coming back to Asso’s place. I've stayed in several vrbos in Florence and elsewhere in Italy, and nothing I've experienced comes close to this place. The location, decor, attention to every detail, and gracious hospitality made it a true gem.
