Hotel Niagara - Marotta

Just 30 meters from the beach, and we loved taking long walks along the seafront. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and Lara, Mariaelena, and Leila were so kind, showing us what to see and visit nearby. We stayed for a week. The place isn't brand new, but the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms newly renovated, so it feels like more than a 2-star hotel. We'll be back! 👌👌😉

The breakfast buffet was good, including lactose-free pastries, but the rest of our stay was terrible. We couldn't sleep because of loud noise from the outside air conditioning, and the owner didn't seem sympathetic to our discomfort. The building needs renovation, the rooms and furniture are dated, and the bathroom was tiny with no shower. The place gets flooded. There was only one electrical outlet, for the TV, with a multiple outlet fitted there, and none in the bathroom or by the bedside tables. We also had to ask for toilet paper because none had been left.

Leila at reception was a real bright spot. She welcomed us with a smile, was polite and professional, and gave us useful advice throughout our stay. Breakfast was plentiful, with both sweet and savory choices, and felt more like a three-star hotel's spread than a two-star one. We stayed just one night in a standard room. It's a pleasant area for strolling and shopping, with restaurants, piadina shops, and pubs nearby where you can try local specialties. The hotel is close to the sea, and Simonetta's breakfast cooking is a real plus. Private parking was handy, and the beach managers right next door were friendly and extremely helpful. Maria Elena and the rest of the staff were courteous and efficient, making our stay pleasant despite the somewhat dated rooms. Definitely somewhere I'd recommend.
