Le Case Di Seba

Maria made our stay especially easy. She was flexible about arrival and departure times, stayed in touch on WhatsApp, and helped us find restaurants, bars showing the World Championship Football (Holland!!!), and a scooter rental. She also took an interest in how our holiday was going and helped us get oriented in Sicily. The building is in a quiet little part of Italy, and the apartment, Vitulia, was lovely and spacious, with a large table, comfortable sofa, good kitchen, big fridge and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable, though a bit short for me at 1.90 metres. The apartment was beautiful and new. We’d happily recommend Le Case Di Seba for a holiday in Sicily. The one thing missing was furniture on the balcony.

The owner was really friendly and glad to help, and I'd stay here again on another trip to Sicily. The apartments are very spacious and have everything you need. It's well placed for Vulcano Edna, Catania, Toarmina and Syracusa, though you'll need a rental car in this area.

Everything was new, clean and nice, and the bed was really comfortable. The place was great value for money. My only little issue was the stairway lighting timer, which wasn't set properly in the evenings.

Seba and Giusy are such welcoming, kind hosts, and staying at their wonderful Case di Seba was a real pleasure. The place feels connected to everyday Sicily, rather than tucked into a tourist bubble. People in town are warm and friendly, from bus drivers joking with passengers to cafe staff serving granita with brioche, or cornetto and caffe for breakfast. There’s good pizza too, and plenty of seaside places with seafood menus. The terrace upstairs is a lovely spot for a meal, a drink at sunset, or swapping stories with other guests. From there you can see the sea, the church and Etna, and hear the soft church bells. The rooms and apartments are thoughtfully designed, tasteful and high quality, with everything you might need. It’s all spotless, comfortable and quiet despite being close to town, transport and main roads. Getting around is easy whether you're driving or using public transport. The bus stop is around the corner, the train station a short walk away, and the town's main street is close by. A few minutes on foot takes you to a long stretch of beaches. The location also makes Sicily's tourist sights easy to reach, with routes from Catania and Messina nearby.
