The setting makes it easy to enjoy the Como area away from the tourist spots down the hill, though they’re only a few kilometers away. I first met Stephano, the host, several years back and have returned many times during business trips to Milano, at different times of year. Each visit leaves me feeling refreshed, whether I’m settling in before work or unwinding afterward before the trip back to the U.S.A. The associates and customers who’ve come along with me have felt the same way.

We’ve been returning every year since 2013, and plan to keep doing so as long as we can. The house has a lovely atmosphere, amazing views, and a cozy, quaint feel. It’s off the beaten track, which is part of what we like about it. The bathrooms are small but well equipped, while the living rooms are huge and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Parking is free and convenient, and the host is fantastic and so kind.

It was the middle of summer and there wasn’t even an electric fan, so I took off a star. The people were warm and welcoming, though, and the place is wonderfully quaint. You can really feel its history.

We were welcomed so warmly by fantastic hosts. The apartment is beautiful, with views over Lake Como, and there’s a cellar full of wine 🍷
