10/10
We stayed in an apartment with a kitchen, air conditioning, and all the amenities we needed, and it was comfortable. It was cleaned and serviced every day. The hosts and staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast had a good buffet with homemade, genuine products, and dinner was lovely too, with antipasti and a choice of pasta and meat depending on the menu. The countryside view was beautiful, and there’s a lake nearby. A really relaxing stay.

The Tuscan scenery and quiet are a big part of the appeal, with cypresses and olive trees all around. Go at 20:00 when the antipasto buffet begins and load up on what you like: pizza, coppa, fried fiori di zucca, zuchinni al forno ripieni, and rosemary bread. You can also buy homemade olive oil with garlic or fig jam. The one drawback is the wait between courses, which feels too long.
