Ai Foggiali

We all loved this little apartment, my husband, my girls and me. Set in a renovated house with a mezzanine in the historic center, it's perfect if you want to feel like a local for a couple of days instead of just having somewhere to sleep. Step outside and you're straight into the bustle of tourists. There are several good places to eat nearby, and it's just steps from the end of the pedestrian zone, where there's coin-operated parking, free on holidays. The starting points for excursions and sightseeing are only a few meters away. Highly recommended!

The inn was roomy, with a handy kitchen and a warm shower. It's right by the square, which makes it easy to walk to the Sassi, and close enough for an evening stroll. You can't see the night view from the room, but it's amazing within walking distance. It was a little noisy at night, possibly because we stayed on a Sunday. I'd definitely like to stay here again.

The apartment is nicely renovated, and the location is very central. It's only a few minutes to the Sassi, and the rest of the center is easy to explore on foot. I recommend it to everyone. Stay without hesitation, you'll have a wonderful time.

The apartment at the FOGGIALI has everything you could want, and the large windows give it a cool, air-conditioned feel. It's inside Matera's pedestrian zone, with everything close by: the fruit and vegetable market, bars, excellent bakeries, and the whole historic center. Hospitality is a hallmark here.
