The hosts were professional and exceeded our expectations, and the price was excellent for what we got. This is a luxury property in the heart of the Sassi of Matera, with breathtaking views of the Sasso. Our spacious room had a mini hydromassage pool, which made for a unique stay in such a spectacular location. Highly recommended.

A quiet, peaceful spot in the Sassi di Matera, with an exceptional view of the Murgia mountains. The interiors are tastefully furnished, and the place is refined, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The room with the hot tub was the icing on the cake, perfect for a romantic weekend. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was a lovely surprise, with delicious croissants, yogurt, coffee, cappuccino, and even focaccia from Matera. The room had everything we needed, including a gorgeous teapot ready to use, and a large whirlpool tub that kept a steady temperature. A latex mattress and pillow made for real relaxation. Tucked into the Sassi, the location was completely quiet and private. You pay for the service, and it's more than fair.

Lisa was so nice and kind, always there if we needed anything. We spent two nights in this beautiful city, in a comfortable room with a hot tub. It was a quiet, romantic place.

The landscape is stunning, though getting there with luggage and a stroller was really hard. At first it all looked perfect. After a few hours, though, the humidity, stuffy air, and dust falling from the tuff ceiling left my nose blocked until morning. The bed wasn't comfortable either, and the price feels too high for the property's current condition.
