We had to pay the balance when we arrived rather than at the end of the stay. Inside, sound carried so badly that every noise from the neighbor came through. The bathroom was tiny, especially the sink, which was too small to brush your teeth at. The pillows were lumpy and really uncomfortable.

The Sassi of Matera were easy to explore on foot from here, and the rooms were clean and new. We only stayed one night, but the owner was very kind. Highly recommended, thank you 👍

Just a few minutes on foot from the old town. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the service was efficient.

The Sassi are very close, and the location is excellent. We stayed for one night and were warmly welcomed by the manager, who explained what there was to see around the city. The rooms were new, clean, and had all the comforts.

Our apartment had three double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and practically new. One bathroom had a window, while the other two had ventilation. Towels and linens, a hairdryer, and hand and shower soap were provided. Each room has a small terrace. The view isn't anything special, but it suited us. It's a five-minute walk to the easily reached town center, and parking is underneath the building. Thanks to the owners for being so welcoming, helpful, and kind, and for suggesting places to visit and sharing interesting anecdotes and information.
