The owners were so kind, and the location was just right. We loved the room's details and the breakfast too. Such a unique stay, everything felt perfect. We'd recommend it and would definitely return. Grazie mille!

Breakfast was tasty, with local bread, sausage, cheese, cornetti, and good coffee, and the hosts were lovely. Our family of four fit comfortably in the clean room with its loft. From the BnB in the Sassi of Matera, it's a short, scenic walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops, and the historic Sasso Caveoso is close by.

Chiara and Rocco were wonderful hosts, so warm and helpful. Everything was top-notch and had a character of its own, and the location made it easy to explore both Sassi. We also learned that vico isn't the same as via: the pergola is reached by a stone staircase, practically above the via. Highly recommended.

The hosts were excellent, and they made us a great breakfast, suggested restaurants, and arranged a guided tour of the Sassi. The apartment was welcoming and very clean, right in the heart of Matera, within the city of Sassi. Highly recommended.

Chiara and Rocco put so much care into making our stay memorable, and I'm very grateful to them. We spent two nights at La Pergola ai Sassi. The room was spotless and peaceful, and the location was convenient for the city center. Chiara welcomed us right away and was always available. Rocco knew the history of the Sassi well and showed us a route to the sights. Breakfast was generous, with fresh, high-quality traditional products. Everything was excellent! I'd highly recommend staying at "La Pergola ai Sassi".
