We loved our two nights and wished we could have stayed a third. The apartment was spacious, very quiet, spotless, and wonderfully quirky, with a perfect location and a great host. You can cook for yourself, but there's also Botega Culinaria next door, a fantastic restaurant with a varied, beautifully presented menu and genuinely friendly, helpful staff. There's an Osteria too, though we didn't get to try it. We'd stay again!

It's a beautiful, well-furnished apartment carved right into the Sassi of Matera. The owners were a little slow with the cleaning, though, and the floor we found was a bit dirty.

From outside, you wouldn't expect how well-kept this apartment is. Inside it's welcoming, fully equipped, and furnished with taste and a designer touch. Absolutely worth the price, highly recommended.

The property manager was extremely helpful, and the place was spotless and very well organized. I stayed here with my family a few days ago, and the location in the historic center of the Sassi di Matera was excellent. We'll be back, thanks!
