Mrs. Vanna was especially kind and always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the central location made it easy to explore the Sassi. I had a really good stay at this B&B and would happily recommend it.

Finding parking was easy, and the property is on the road into the center, close to the Sassi. The rooms are modern and very clean, with a mini-fridge stocked with fresh water each day. The owner is a warm, friendly, professional and very kind lady. If you need somewhere to stay in Matera, Domus Roma is a good choice...

Vanna's smile, helpfulness, and restaurant suggestions made it easy to feel at home and enjoy Matera. Domus Roma is close to the Sassi, though it isn't in them. The place is cared for down to the small details, from the entrance to the room, and the new rooms are cleaned daily, so they feel fresh each time you walk in. The bed is comfortable, the towels are lovely, and the shower gives hot water right away. Its enclosure closes properly, so the bathroom doesn't get flooded. The quiet minibar was a relief after noisy ones I've had at other hotels. There's free water when you arrive, and the fridge is refilled every day. I'd recommend Domus Roma, and I'd stay here again if I return to Matera. Happy Matera to everyone, Lorella.

The rooms were spotless, and the owners made check-in easy to arrange. Parking is available, and it's only a short walk to both the Sassi and the historic center.
