The room was roomy and furnished with care and good taste. The large double bed had a comfortable mattress, and the location made it easy to get to the historic center. The lady welcomed us warmly and was very professional.

Matera itself is beautiful and very romantic, and we had a wonderful stay. The house felt like home, was clean and pretty, and had all the comforts. The owners were so kind that they even left us a welcome cake. It’s a 20-minute walk from the Sassi.

Mrs. Anna was thoughtful and incredibly kind. She welcomed us with a homemade donut, a fridge stocked with water, milk, and juice, plus a tray of breakfast snacks. The studio was stylish and well cared for. Matera is a wonderful city that’s definitely worth visiting, especially for the hospitality and kindness of the locals.

The hostess was very kind, and the place was clean, air-conditioned, and tastefully furnished. We had a wonderful two-day stay, with the center a real eight-minute walk away and the train station nearby. We didn’t use the kitchen, though the coffee machine and its excellent pods came in handy. The one drawback was that there weren’t enough outlets for charging phones and other things. Highly recommended!

We were on motorcycles and could park right in front of the house, which was great. The place was lovely, clean, and tidy, just a short walk from the center. Mrs. Anna was very helpful and kind. Highly recommended!
