B&B Da Pietro

The room had all the comforts we needed, including air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a TV. It was clean, and there was secure private parking. The B&B is well placed for Matera and all the nearby seaside towns. We’ll definitely come back.

I also run a B&B, and I could tell right away how much care Pietro puts into looking after guests. I called him at the last minute on May 1st, and he was immediately kind and helpful, sharing lots of interesting information about Matera. The price was much lower than other places nearby. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with an extra pillow, and there was a fully equipped kitchen, dining space with a table for each room, a nice sofa, and a huge bathroom shared with just one other room. Everything was new, super clean, and smelled lovely. Pietro and his wife do a great job. There’s air conditioning in every room, plus a small outdoor area to smoke or relax. Street parking was easy, and the city center was easy to reach thanks to good transport connections. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and well equipped, and there was indoor parking. Pietro was very kind and helpful. It’s a 10-minute drive to the Sassi. Recommended.

Breakfast could use some reconsideration. The room itself was very clean and small, but had everything needed. It would be good to make it clearer that the bathroom is shared.
