B&B Donna Lina was a great choice for our two days in Matera. The house has a lovely, welcoming feel, and the rooms were well kept, very clean, and had everything we needed. The owner greeted us so warmly and shared information on Matera, including the main places to see. I'd recommend it. Giusy from the province of Cuneo.

I stayed at the Donna Lina B&B over the weekend of December 14th and 15th, and I felt it was love at first sight from the very first message. Simona, thank you. I’ve never been shown such kindness. She even helped me get from one place to another around the city. The welcome and service were fantastic, and everything was organized down to the smallest detail. The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy. I highly recommend it... 😍

The view of the Sassi from the terrace room was stunning, and they offered it to us at no extra cost. There’s also a lovely panoramic terrace. The place has welcoming vintage character, and the staff gave us great tips on parking, places to eat, and things to see. It’s centrally located, too. We’d happily come back, and two nights is the minimum to enjoy this magical city.

We found the rooms clean and comfortable, even if some of the furnishings felt a little dated. There are just three rooms, plus a shared lounge and a nice terrace facing the Sassi of Matera. Our room may have been the largest, and it had a small terrace of its own. Breakfast costs extra, though espresso, a kettle, and plum cakes are provided in the common area. Shops and restaurants are close by, and the location is very central. Recommended 👌

Simona and Angelo were so helpful and did a lot to make our stay enjoyable. The property was comfortable, with a lovely panoramic terrace. It sits on a quiet little street in the historic center, not too far from the ZTL (limited traffic zone) entrance. Great location.
