Giuseppe was friendly, professional, and always helpful. We felt at home and looked after straight away, with everything we needed for breakfast and relaxing. The property is beautiful and right in the heart of the Sassi di Matera, just a few steps from the center. We’ve finally found our home base in this lovely city for our next visit with our dog. Thanks so much, guys! ❤️

Giuseppe, the owner, was kind and ready to help with anything. B&B Il Caminetto was clean and well looked after, and the location was great. I’d recommend it and hope to return.

The apartment looks out over the Sassi of Matera, and it’s enchanting, clean, and comfortable. The owner was so kind, nice, and helpful. If I come back, I’ll know exactly who to contact. Thank you!

The place was spotless and welcoming, and the owner was incredibly helpful. The terrace is charming, with a stunning view from right in the center of the Sassi. Five stars don’t feel like enough.

That incredible terrace looking out over the Sassi makes this a wonderful place to stay.
