The room had some drawbacks: the road is narrow, there's no private parking, and some rooms get almost no light through their windows. The single beds weren't very comfortable either. On the plus side, it was quiet, clean, well located, and had good internet. The owner was helpful, and the price was good given that Matera's rates are rising as the tourist year approaches.

We spent two nights there on December 26th and 27th. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect for getting to the city center and the famous Sassi. It was an excellent stay, though the breakfast service could use improvement. Mario

The hosts were very accommodating and provided breakfast. The common areas are laid out nicely, the small kitchen is lovely, and the twin bedroom has a beautiful bathroom. There was very little natural light, even with the skylight, and no airflow from outside. Luckily, there was air conditioning. I couldn't leave a review on Booking.com because the form was sent before it had been submitted, with the title "Fabulous," which I hadn't written.

We spent the weekend there with my family. The room was comfortable, and Raffaella, the owner, was kind and always available to answer questions. It's only a few minutes from the Sassi, on a quiet street without late-night disturbances. Breakfast at the nearby pastry shop was delicious and a real treat. Thanks for everything.

The owners were very kind and helpful, and I’ll definitely come back. The place is very nice, well furnished, and exceptionally clean and tidy. The rooms are comfortable and have what you need, plus little touches that make the stay pleasant. The large private bathroom was spotless. It's in a quiet, convenient spot, only a five-minute walk from the center. Breakfast at a nearby pastry shop is included, though it isn't mandatory. Highly recommended.
