We stayed a week and absolutely loved it. Vincenzo was a fantastic host, super friendly and clear in his communication. The place was clean, tidy, and really well cared for, and the location was great, just a short walk to the center. Breakfast was good for the price. Parking takes a little figuring out, but it's free if you don't mind walking 5-10 minutes. We'll definitely come back someday!

This was one of the nicest places we stayed in during our trip through southern Italy. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, the breakfast was homemade, and the location was great. What stood out most was how kind the host was and how at home he made us feel. We arrived late in the evening, and it wasn't a problem. Check-in was the fastest ever, a big plus for more spontaneous travelers. The B&B owner also shared tips that helped us discover some hidden Italian gems. We strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera.

The owner was fantastic, pointing us to a great restaurant and arranging a taxi for our onward trip. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. It’s an easy walk from here to the train and bus station, the main square, and the Sassi. A highly recommendable place to stay when visiting Matera.

Waking up to the smell of fresh, warm croissants was lovely, and the breakfast was great. Our host was kind, professional, and attentive, and the rooms were spacious with private bathrooms. Da Vinci B&B sits just above the Sassi. We had a great two-night, three-day stay in Matera, and I’d happily recommend it.
