The owner is a wonderful person. The location is lovely, tucked into a fairly quiet inner courtyard in the heart of Matera, and you can park nearby for free.

It’s right in the center, set in a beautiful "sasso" of Matera, and really handy for visiting the sights. The accommodation has a kitchen and a comfortable bed, and the owner is kind and available whenever you have questions. Parking is inconvenient, but that’s part of Matera’s character. It wouldn’t have the same charm if cars could get everywhere. Recommended!

Staying in a stone building made the experience feel special, and the setting is beautiful. The owner was friendly and courteous. I'd recommend it!

The house felt very damp, and breakfast was disappointing and could use a rethink. The location, though, is great.
