Luca & Giovanna were so kind and thoughtful throughout our lovely stay. The centrally located room was well decorated and equipped. We had a wonderful time, and I’d highly recommend it for a night in Matera.

We had a wonderful night in romantic Matera after our vacation in Salento. Emanuele welcomed us warmly in the early afternoon and arranged a city tour in under ten minutes. We spent about two hours walking around at sunset. Later, on his recommendation, we ate at a typical Lucanian restaurant, then settled into a magnificent room carved into the Sassi. It was intimate and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, served on a terrace with a beautiful view. If you’re after traditional local accommodation, I highly recommend it. We’ll definitely return.
