Mrs. Mariella at the front desk was so professional and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. She also knows a lot about the city and its services, and was available whenever we needed something. The hotel was bright, very clean, and quiet. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including homemade pastries, and the service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. Excellent experience, highly recommended.

Mariella was the real highlight. She was helpful, kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, and from the booking stage she was professional and attentive to what we needed. Her local knowledge and advice were especially useful since we’re not from the area. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming, just a few minutes’ drive from Matera’s centre, with comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. We were completely satisfied and would definitely return if we get the chance.

Our room looked out over a garden with fountains and was bright, spacious, and immaculately clean. The property is elegant, and breakfast had a huge range of sweet and savory choices. It’s only a few kilometers from the Sassi, a beautiful place to stay when visiting Matera. See you again soon!
