I’d already paid, but left and booked somewhere else after the owner yelled at me for arriving too early, then unexpectedly asked for €15 to park my motorbike. I’ve never had anyone shout at me like that in my life. Don’t book here.

I can’t speak to the stay itself because I never got to assess it. The owner threatened to cancel my Booking.com reservation over the low price. I’d just followed the usual process, so that kind of behavior felt completely out of line. The owner was rude, and I wouldn’t recommend visiting.

There was no toilet paper or shower gel in one of our rooms, and in the morning the owner asked us for another €10 per room without giving any clear reason. His extremely rude manner ruined the stay. That’s unacceptable for a place hosting guests, and I can’t recommend it.

The location was excellent, but the room had mold, a dusty fridge, and plenty of dust on the headboard and behind the TV. The shower was in a pitiful state, there wasn’t a full towel set or any hygiene kits, and the bathroom had no toilet paper. The six rolls we eventually managed to get were all partly used. Cold air came through the window frames. A half-curtain covered them, but it still left the room visible to the person across the street. Our room also wasn’t shown in the Booking.com photos, and its key opened two other rooms. After we reported these problems to Booking.com, the owner got in touch to claim damages for things that weren’t there, including a kettle we never saw. There were only two cups with tea bags and a wall. I’m a free citizen in a democratic country and should be able to leave an honest negative review about my experience. Instead, I was threatened with a damage charge unless I changed it. Places like this should be shut down. That’s not how hoteliers should behave.
