I Tre Fiori

Angela made breakfast herself, and she knows the area well enough to give useful information. We felt at home at I Tre Fiori B&B, where the rooms were clean and comfortable and the atmosphere colorful and relaxing. It's also close to the city center. We were very happy with our stay.

We were greeted warmly by Angela, who also treated us to her homemade breakfast. Those little touches mattered, along with how clean and orderly everything was, right down to linens that smelled freshly washed. The rooms aren't especially large, but they're suitable for this kind of B&B. It's a little way from the center, which worked in its favor: we had a quiet stay and plenty of parking for the car. Very recommendable if you're driving.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially Angela's homemade cakes, along with cappuccino, juices, and really good espresso. I’m Neapolitan, so I don’t say that lightly. The visit itself was short, just a quick stop to see Matera, but Angela and Fedele were kind from the first call right through to the end, when they gave us a small, tasty gift. The rooms felt new, cheerful, welcoming, spotless, and smelled lovely. The location is handy for the Sassi while still being very peaceful. We'd gladly come back.

Angela and Fedele were helpful and kind, and the breakfast was a real treat, with local baked goods and Angela's own desserts. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished in a floral style. The ensuite bathroom is small, but clean and works well. There's generous free parking right outside, which is useful if you're driving since central Matera has restricted traffic. The B&B is about 900 meters from the Sassi, so its location is convenient for getting around by car.
