Even in January, the place felt warm and inviting, with heated rooms and no need to use the outdoor areas. I loved the view, and having breakfast with that panorama of the cathedral was special. The rooms are spacious and clean, blending modern touches with a sense of history without going overboard. There’s plenty of comfortable space, and you feel at home as soon as you arrive. I’d love to return, and highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

There were five of us, a couple and three friends, and we slept comfortably in two spacious rooms. The view across the Sassi was panoramic, and the property was extremely clean. The host was very helpful, and we made use of the coffee machine with Borbone capsules. A great place to stay and enjoy Matera.

The shared kitchen came in handy for making coffee, and our room was spacious and practical. We were right in the heart of the Sassi, with a private terrace and spectacular views. A really good stay.

A great base for visiting both Sassi, just 50 meters from the main square.

So cozy and spacious, with lots of light. There are three terraces, and everything was clean and well equipped.
