The host was excellent, very nice and professional, and the accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable at an affordable price. It's very cat friendly, so feel free to bring your four-legged friends. I'd stay again without hesitation and have recommended it to all my friends.

The owners were really kind and gave us lots of suggestions for seeing Matera and finding traditional places to eat. Our stay was very comfortable. The location is handy, just steps from the centre, and the room was spacious, cozy and impeccably clean. There were lots of amenities, including coffee and herbal tea making facilities, disposable slippers and shower gel.

Martina made the stay especially easy, keeping in touch with directions and suggestions throughout. The self check-in was simple too: after sharing the required details, we got a phone link that opened the entrance. Myricae is a few steps from Matera's historic center, and the rooms are roomy, clean, and nicely furnished, with well-equipped bathrooms. There’s a big comfortable bed, twin pillows, air conditioning, TV, wardrobe, curtains, slippers, earplugs, and Wi-Fi. The shared breakfast area has a coffee pod machine, kettle, tea and chamomile, biscuits, and filtered water bottles in the fridge for each room. Breakfast itself isn’t provided, though there’s an arrangement with a nearby bakery for anyone who wants it. Highly recommended.
