Mr. Michele was the best part, welcoming us so kindly and helpfully and sharing valuable advice for our stay. He'd also reserved parking for us, which was very convenient. The apartment is small but cozy, clean, and has everything you need. It's just steps from the famous Sassi di Matera.

We stayed one night in this house, full of history, traditions, and family stories, yet with every comfort and only a short distance from the city center. The owner welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we felt at home straight away. He put real passion and care into helping us with our stay and exploring the beautiful city, sharing valuable advice and giving us genuine attention. It's an experience we'll always treasure.

Close to the Sassi, the location was really convenient. Michele, the owner, sorted out parking for us, told us about Matera's history, and explained how to get around. Excellent price.

Mr. Michele is such a kind, friendly guide for guests and gave us loads of useful information. He even moved his own car so we could park in front of the property, fixing our parking problem. He shares so much love for Matera, and made the stay just as delightful. The rental is spacious and clean, only steps from the historic center, and there's the option of breakfast with coffee and other items. Highly recommended, and we'd gladly return.
