Free parking was a real plus, with plenty of spaces available. Breakfast was complimentary, had lots of choices, and we enjoyed it. At checkout, the hotel surprised us with homemade pasta, a thoughtful touch we’ll remember. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained, and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout. The hotel is a short drive from Matera, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Highly recommended for a visit to Matera.

The breakfast was delicious and presented so nicely. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the staff were great about helping us out and suggesting places to see and restaurants nearby. From check-in through checkout, we had a wonderful stay. Thanks for a great experience!

Matera’s old city is about a seven-minute drive away. We stayed three nights and found the owner and staff very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was spotless and very well maintained. Highly recommended!

I didn’t make an issue of it at first, though the room didn’t seem to meet the size and other criteria for the deluxe room I’d booked through Expedia. At checkout, their paperwork confirmed Room 1 is a comfort room, not a deluxe. I tried to explain that I’d paid for deluxe while both the documents and the room showed I’d been given comfort, but got nowhere arguing with an Italian. As a solo traveler, I suspect they tried their luck by giving me a smaller room below the specifications I paid for. I have photos of both the room and paperwork to prove it. There had been plenty of positives until then, but I feel ripped off for not getting what I paid for.

The breakfast was delicious, way beyond what I expected. The place was fantastic, neat, clean, and comfortable, and the owner and staff were lovely and helpful. A must-stay!
