There are lots of safe street parking spaces for guests arriving by car. Parking costs 1€/hr every day from 8am-8:30pm, and paying by credit card is easy. The hotel and rooms are right in central Matera, and the price was very reasonable too.

The guy who checked us in gave us excellent dining suggestions, which we appreciated. The stay itself was odd: the rooms seemed to be former offices in a small shopping center, just outside the city center. There wasn't much of a view, and everything in the shower was broken. If you're in Matera, I'd spend a little more for a room overlooking the rocks.
