The room was clean and spacious, and the shower room was clean too, with plenty of hot water. The guest house is very close to the Matera bus terminal, and the owner was kind and spoke English well. Breakfast wasn’t included, but we could use a large fridge in the kitchen. Finding the entrance may be a little tricky at first. It was a bit cold in late October because the heaters were still off.

Giuseppe was welcoming and really helpful. The common areas were spacious and clean, and the rooms were comfortable, roomy, fully equipped, and spotless. The air conditioning worked well without being too strong, both during the day and at night. Coffee from the machine was a nice way to start the morning. The location is handy for enjoying Matera, and we had a very positive stay. Highly recommended!

Giuseppe helped our group of six find an option that worked well for both accommodation and cost, and he was polite and available right away. The apartment has been completely renovated, with rooms that are well equipped, bright, clean, and airy. It’s on the second floor, a few minutes’ walk from Matera’s center and about five minutes from the Sassi. Our mini-break in Matera was perfect. Thanks from all of us in Rome, and highly recommended!

The owner gave us useful tips about what to see and where to eat traditional food, and there’s a kitchenette guests can use. Breakfast is included. The property is newly renovated and just a short walk from the center, with free parking on the surrounding streets.

The owner is nice, but very tight with what he provides. Bring your own breakfast! Dear Giuseppe, there isn’t even a bottle of water, and toast and jam wouldn’t cost much. At 10:00 in the morning, the friendly cleaning lady will literally kick you out. The location is decent, considering it’s not a big city.
