We found a room at the guest house at 3PM thanks to a cancellation, and Sandra and Ilea said we were lucky to get it. Our suite had a view of the Sassi, and we got a marvelous rest before spending the evening with local people in the piazza. The room was perfect, with parking right outside, free and without time limits on the opposite side of the street. Ilea even lent us his phone charger overnight. The shower was so good, everyone should have one like it. Thanks to Sandra and Ilea for such great hospitality!

The window looks out over the historic center, with a breathtaking panorama. That's the highlight of this little gem in the heart of Matera. The room is small, but extremely clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was great, and the shower was excellent. Nothing to complain about. Mine had a balcony with a great view of the Sassi, and waking up to the spectacular sunrise was amazing. It was a quiet location, just right for a client who hates noise. Very kind Uncle Carmenio at the information desk introduced me to the place. I requested a 7:00 PM sunset tour of Matera and accommodation, so I only had to pay the town tax once. Reception opened at 3:00 PM when I checked in. Valentina, who had studied Japanese for two years, was very kind and adorable. They showed me to my room in the building next door. Thank you, I’ll come again.

The balcony has a beautiful view, and the location is ideal, close to everything. This is a very nice, clean, well-equipped guesthouse with excellent bedding. The welcome was warm, friendly, and efficient. Covered parking is available nearby for a fee if needed. I highly recommend it.
