We stayed for three nights in October and had a wonderful time. The view of the Sassi is grey, and the place is nicer than it looks in the photos. It’s close to the main streets but tucked away at the end of a quiet dead end, which made the stay more pleasant. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus free parking and breakfast. A great base for exploring Matera.

The breakfast at Vittorio Veneto bar was a huge hit, with excellent products and really friendly staff. The owner was incredibly kind, and the apartment itself was lovely, with careful attention to detail and a superb location. My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here, and it was much better than I expected from the photos. It couldn't have been better!

There's a lovely terrace with a splendid view across the Sassi. We found the natural microclimate especially welcome in summer, as it meant we didn't need air conditioning. The place is easy to reach, and secure parking is included in the price. A delightful stay in the Sassi of Matera, we'd recommend it.

The terrace is pleasant and gives you stunning views of the Sassi. Breakfast was excellent, and private parking is included in the price. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the location is very central.

We paid for breakfast at the bar in the square, and it was spectacular. The terrace has a one-of-a-kind view, and the decor is lovely. Everything was clean and well cared for. It's in a great spot for exploring the city.
