We booked two nights at short notice. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, and the owner was very helpful. The rooms are a little noisy, the one downside, but otherwise it offers the comfort of a higher-category place for a three-star hotel. The food is very good, there’s a nice little spa, and bikes are available to rent. The guest ticket also makes it easy to take the bus to the city center. It really has everything you could want and is highly recommended.

I had an accident the day before we were due to arrive, leaving me with severe bruising and pain, so unfortunately we had to cancel our five-day booking. We politely asked whether any compensation might be possible, such as a pro-rata charge or partial refund, but the new manager showed no understanding at all. His response was essentially, “What’s the point of cancellation policies?” We found that attitude extremely unaccommodating and regrettable. We won’t return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

Take it easy, eat well, and relax. It’s a little over 1.5 kilometers to the city center and Elisabeth Park, but who cares about that in South Tyrol?
