B&B Sicilia

It's a practical place if all you need is somewhere to wash and sleep. The location is good, near the bus stop and basic shops, and there's an elevator. With the window shut, the street noise at night was bearable. Cleaning needs work: there was dust on the TV and other things that looked like it had been there for weeks, plus dusty clumps on the bed frames. Some repairs and a thorough clean could make this a really nice place. I would still go back.

We spent four nights here, and the accommodation wasn't worth the price. The B&B is far from the city center, about 20 minutes by bus or 30 on foot. More seriously, it was extremely dirty and unhygienic. The towels and sheets looked used and were dirty, the bathroom wasn't clean, and the shampoo bottle was open and used. There were cockroaches in the kitchen. When we asked for the room to be cleaned, they only made the bed with the same sheets and didn't change the towels. We even had to ask for toilet paper. An ugly, very dirty place. I don't recommend it at all.

The room was large and clean. The kitchen setup was very basic, and the breakfast included was barely enough for half the guests.

The room was okay, though a little dirty, and the kitchen was too. We could hear everything said in other rooms through the thin walls. During our stay, some people started renovating other rooms, with hammering, other noise, and loud talking that went on until evening. The owner wasn't there when we arrived and only answered after we'd called many times. Never again :-)
