Malu Suites

We spent 10 days here in May, three of us. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the balcony was great. There were two bedrooms, one with a kitchen, plus a coffee maker, tea kettle, and refrigerator. We had a view of the Strait of Messina. Everything is nearby, and you can take a walk around Lake Ganziri or along the sea. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back.

The bed was really comfortable, and everything in this brand-new B&B worked well and was practical. It’s furnished with good taste and has all the feel of a hotel. Breakfast is at a nearby café rather than in the B&B, which is a little inconvenient, but the café staff are kind, the pastries are delicious, and the cappuccino is excellent. That makes up for having to go out.

The room was clean and had everything we needed, and we had a good two-night stay. The area is a bit far from central Messina, but buses serve it well, so getting around was easy.

It’s close to the sea and Torre Faro, the seaside part of Messina. The rooms are new, quiet, and fitted with the amenities you’d expect at a hotel, so we slept well. The host was friendly and very kind. I highly recommend it.
