The location was good, and the woman who messaged us on WhatsApp before arrival explained everything really clearly. The room itself was a letdown. I paid for the more expensive option, around 1,200 for three nights, after seeing photos of a roomy shower with nice lighting, but ours looked nothing like that. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were tiny and poor quality, the toilet was broken, and the shower had almost no pressure. Noise was the worst part. It wasn’t just traffic, we could hear everything. Some sound inside the walls woke me up, and at first I thought someone in another room was using the toilet. Then I realized it happened every three to five minutes. It went on all night and through the morning, until it felt like it was in my head.

The deluxe double room was clean and nice, in a fairly calm area with a good location. The window might as well have been paper, though. Even shut, I could hear someone sweeping outside. Ambulances and café workers emptying boxes of used glass bottles into the bin were much louder. The window really needs fixing. The water also took a while to heat up, and the pipe handle was unusually stiff.

We were happy with the service during our stay from May 12 to May 15. Whenever we had a question, the host got back to us right away and gave us useful information. The apartment is an easy short walk from the center, and the neighborhood has plenty of shops and activity. We'd definitely come back at the first chance. Gracie Manuela!!!!

I missed my flight and asked through Booking whether I could get at least part of my money back since I wouldn't be staying. The owner refused. Booking then asked her to reschedule the accommodation, as she had already received the payment, but she refused that too. I hope she has to deal only with people who treat others the way she does, because she showed no humanity.
