Albergo Amalfi Milano

The room and hotel were clean and well maintained, and the location was quiet. I stayed for a week. Giorgia, I believe that was her name, was warm, friendly, and engaging, and made a real difference to my visit. My few conversations with the owner felt neutral rather than openly negative, but he didn't come across as welcoming. I think guest relations could use some work, since a friendly manner matters in this kind of job. Without Giorgia's kindness, I probably wouldn't have given the place three stars. The hotel itself is good, so it's a shame my impression of the owner affected the rating.

It's clean, really quiet, reasonably priced, and right by the metro. I honestly don't get why some people rate this place so low. It's more than adequate. Some of you expect to be treated like princesses for every euro you spend, and apparently basic decency and respect for other people are hard to come by. 🤣

From February 6 to 10, 2025, I stayed at Hotel Amalfi Milano and found the room cozy and practical for my trip. The room service was especially helpful and courteous, with proactive attention that improved the stay. The property also stayed clean and well maintained throughout. It seems like a reliable, convenient option for value minded travelers in the heart of Milan.

Unfriendly and inconsiderate. I'd arranged through Booking.com to store my fairly expensive road bike somewhere in the hotel, and the owner agreed online. But when I arrived at 8pm in January, they wouldn't even let me bring my completely clean bike inside. I spent three hours searching around Milan in zero degree weather for another room, and still had to pay the full price. I don't recommend it.
