We were upgraded to a room with a terrace, and the view was stunning. Hearing and watching the bell tower added a lot to the atmosphere. The staff were warm and helpful, especially with taxis, which usually showed up within a couple of minutes. From here it's around a 25-minute walk to both the canals and the Duomo. The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent-sized fridge. We did find a few ants inside near the door on our last night, which was disappointing. Charging was awkward too, as there was just one socket in the room and no plugs or USB ports by the bed. Breakfast was standard continental fare, but the fresh orange juice machine was a lovely touch. A very enjoyable stay, with a few small irritations.

We liked the calm neighbourhood and how quiet and relaxing the hotel was. It was close to the metro and the main sights, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick and straightforward, and using a passcode to enter the rooms was convenient. I'd pick this hotel again if I return.

Such a lovely, quiet stay! The beds, pillows, and linen were beautiful and incredibly comfy, and I slept so well. Everyone was nice, the wine was cheap, and breakfast had everything you needed and was delicious. The hotel is right in the middle of the historic centre, with the Duomo and all that beauty nearby. I absolutely loved it, 10 stars from me! 😍🥰😍🥰

The front desk staff were really pleasant and helped me sort out a mistake with my booking dates. They were very accommodating, and we also got a crib for our baby. The hotel was a great fit for our Milan stay, reasonably priced and clean, with a pretty terrace. It's about a six-minute walk from the metro and 20 minutes from the airport. Highly recommend!

The only drawback was the price, though honestly I'd be willing to pay it again. The room at B&B hotel sant’amborgio was incredible, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was class. Staff were attentive and really friendly.
