The location, breakfast, and staff were all good. The parking situation was the one annoying thing. They list parking as a service, but there are only 4 spots, so even booking days in advance, your chances of getting one are almost nil. I booked through booking.com and complained about the parking, and now booking won’t let me write a review. If I’d known, I would have booked somewhere else.

The location made getting around easy, and I’d recommend it to people who don’t want the hassle of searching for stations, buses, and so on. It’s right beside the metro and lidl, so we could get anywhere easily. The service was nice, especially Gabrielle, who was extremely helpful. Our room was fine for sleeping and resting, though it wasn’t made for spending the whole day in. We stayed for 3 days and had an okay experience overall. At checkout, they charged me 42 euro for the entrance fee to the city, which is 7 euro per day per person. I accepted it since it’s the law and applies to everyone, but they should have told us from the start, before check-in, rather than at checkout. I was lucky to have another 100 euro with me. Otherwise, I don’t know how I’d have paid.

We were fairly happy with our family stay, though this definitely isn’t a family-oriented hotel and there are no offers for kids or families. Our room was much bigger than expected, with lots of space for the girls to run around and play indoors. The bathroom was spacious, everything was clean, and we had a quiet night’s sleep. The staff were nice and friendly, but what the hotel offers is pretty basic. The location is fantastic, around a 40-minute walk to the city centre or 7 minutes on the Metro line right next to the hotel. The beds were a letdown, though. The mattresses felt like wooden planks and the beds moved around. I’m not sure I’d come back.

We stayed for two nights toward the end of April, and I’d come back. The staff were really helpful with taxis and directions, and answered lots of my questions. It’s right next to the metro, which is very convenient. The parking garage is apparently small, and they didn’t think our car would fit, so they sent us to one down the block. Keep that in mind if you’re driving. There was a cold snap while we were there, but the heating had already been switched off for the season. We were cold; the staff apologized and brought extra blankets when we asked. The mattress was a little hard, though that seems common in European hotels. Thank you.
