A lovely little apartment in a great Milan neighborhood. It's on a quiet street, with loads of good restaurants and bars nearby. Highly recommend!

We’ll come back here whenever we’re in Milan. Michela was a lovely, kind host, and being so close to Isola’s nightlife was a real plus. The property was spotless and, despite being on the mezzanine floor, it stayed quiet.

We stayed September 20-23, and I’m leaving this here because the owner apparently didn’t like my honest Booking.com review and replied rudely. I rated it 7/10 there, but my experience here is a 2/10. The location worked for us. We’re from Mexico and don’t know European cities well, but the B&B felt close to Central Station, about a 20-minute walk. There are also several metro stations nearby, which made getting to tourist sights easy. We had coffee, tea, cups and plates in the room. They gave us vouchers for a coffee and croissant, but that didn’t seem like enough for breakfast, so we bought food elsewhere and left the vouchers at the B&B. The owner complained that we thought the place was a bit overpriced and asked what we expected during Milan Fashion Week. We were visiting historical sites and had no idea when Fashion Week was, since we’re foreigners and it isn’t our country. That wasn’t why we came. After a long trip, we bought a few things and filled the two very small trash bins. I messaged Michela politely to say they were full and ask if they could be emptied before they overflowed. She later described our trash as a mess in her Booking.com response. If both bins are full, where are we supposed to put more rubbish? I was asking nicely for them to be emptied. I also asked for fresh towels that day because ours smelled musty despite us opening the bathroom windows. Michela responded by asking whether I changed my towels every two days at home. I don’t, because thankfully mine don’t smell musty, and I don’t understand why the request bothered her. Hotels change towels daily without a problem. Our towels weren’t changed, and nobody cleaned during our stay. Michela said the cleaner had supposedly fainted and couldn’t come. That wasn’t our problem. We paid around €400 for accommodation and expected the service we paid for. We’d stayed in two other B&Bs that cleaned every day without being asked. Here, only the bins were emptied. A week before arrival I told them our train schedule had changed and we’d get there between 9:40 and 10:00. At 9:10 I messaged that we’d reached Milan’s central train station and were on our way. We’re tourists, each with three 25kg suitcases, and had to haul them up and down subway stairs and walk from Zara station to an unfamiliar B&B. We got there around 10:10-10:15. The host saw us struggling with the luggage and still asked why we’d taken so long. Try carrying three 25kg suitcases up subway stairs and walking somewhere you don’t know. She complained about that in her Booking.com reply too. We also left two umbrellas behind, and the host didn’t let us know. That felt dishonest.
