I had to stay because my flight was cancelled, and what I got was much more than I expected: a clean room, nice staff, and a perfect location. They explained everything clearly at check-in and were super kind to me. It's very easy to get around from the hotel by train or subway. Highly recommended :))

I booked this at the last minute and should've read proper reviews first. It wasn't cheap, and Booking. Com shouldn't be advertising it. The room was absolutely filthy, with loads of hairs all over the blanket on the bed, which was like a wool picnic blanket. By far the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. After reading goggle map reviews later, I put on combat trousers because I was worried about beg bugs. I was afraid to leave valuables in the room too. They insist on keeping your key when you go out, so I said I was going for a smoke and sneaked off to the pub instead. When I got back, the lady was angry and very rude. Then I went upstairs and found my room unlocked. I'd definitely locked it!? Absolutely FILTHY. DO NOT STAY HERE, LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!! I'm itchy just thinking about it again!

My room was basic but pretty big and sparkling clean. The hotel is central, on a nice, quiet street with lots of expensive hotels, and very close to the central station. The staff are super friendly. I think this is the best value for money you can get in Milano. Breakfast is free, with fresh, warm croissants and good coffee. I'd recommend it for a friends' getaway. P.S. I found the hotel by walking in from the street after another hotel cancelled my booking. I hadn't seen all the negative reviews then, and I think they're totally unfair.

I paid 150 euros for the extra night, but told them I thought they were dishonest. They said they didn't know about my earlier conversation and claimed the young woman at the desk had only been filling in during lunch. She'd actually been there for hours. I went along in good faith with her suggestion from the day before, so why would a hotel tell a guest to wait instead of accepting payment when they're at the counter with cash? Then I saw what these people are really like. They're lying, money-grabbing, two-faced, nasty little cheats. Stay away from this place. The trouble started when I asked to extend for a night in late November. My first night had cost 70 euros. All the nearby hotels were booked solid, and they told me an extra night would be 100 euros because of the season. I said I'd think about it, went for dinner and a walk around town, then came back two or three hours later ready to pay the 100 euros. The clerk told me to wait until the next day because the rate might drop back to 70. The next day, she said it had jumped to 150 euros. She was so, so sorry, though she seemed practically to be salivating at the thought of the extra money. The rooms were substandard, old, and tired. The bathroom had only a trickle of hot water, and the shower stall was tiny and worn threadbare. The impressive lobby photo doesn't show how dark and dingy it really is. The lobby was always roped off, supposedly for a private function. Avoid this place. Don't stay or book here unless you like being cheated and lied to.
