Brera Luxury Suite

We’ve stayed in this little gem several times while visiting Milano. It’s compact and ideal for a couple, with lovely high-end touches, a beautiful bathroom and a nice kitchenette. The location is spot on, within walking distance of Via Montenapoleone. The host is efficient and always available.

We had a really nice stay in the Brera luxury suite. When our flight was delayed, the owner was accommodating about the late check-in and stayed very responsive whenever we needed something. The apartment is stylish, has all the amenities you could need and sits in the middle of a great Milan neighborhood. For the price, it’s very good value compared with the luxury hotels nearby. Highly recommend.

Our family trip from Madrid turned into a miserable mess. We’d been asking the owner about the property, facilities and booking details for days, but the only message came just before our flight: check-in had to be by 5 pm. We landed at 3 pm and paid €120 for a taxi so we’d arrive on time. At 4:10, we called from the property and were told the owner was in Lugano and wouldn’t come. He gave us a number that was supposedly for Booking.com, but it seemed fake; the people who answered spoke only Italian and didn’t help. We don’t speak Italian. After finally reaching a genuine Booking.com number, we were told the supposed landlord or manager wasn’t coming. Booking eventually helped us find another place, but we didn’t get to a real apartment hotel until around 11 pm, even though we’d arrived in Milano at 4. We were stuck in a park with all our luggage, hungry, unable to speak Italian, waiting for somewhere to go, while our kids cried in the street. This guy, the property, the owner or manager, basically ruined our vacation. I hope this never happens to anyone else going to Milano. The address Booking.com gave me was via brera lux suite. I’d paid €120 for the airport taxi because they’d said at the last minute check-in had to be by 5, and that they’d mark us as a “no show” if we were late. Who’s going to give me that money back? The €200 I paid still isn’t in my bank either. They rip off tourists who don’t speak Italian, keep changing the story about times and don’t answer questions about customer service. Traveling with my family and kids left us with really sad memories.

We spent a weekend here as a family. The apartment was elegantly furnished and had every comfort, right in the heart of Brera. It was clean, and the welcome was courteous.
