Clerici Boutique Hotel

The rooms had fun paintings, and the hotel is really close to shopping and restaurants in Brera. Ilaria was so friendly and nice. I've been learning Italian, and she tried speaking a little with me and my girlfriend. She also helped call us a cab for 6am so we'd make our train.

Breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I can remember having in all my years of travel, and the staff were friendly too. I stayed here a few years ago. It's a little, quiet boutique hotel in an amazing Milan location. The hotel is very modern, with new, clean, spacious rooms and very nice facilities. I'd definitely stay again.

The smell of sewage would come through the hotel several times a day and night, and it was disgusting. The rooms are small and dark, even the superior double. The sheets were a mess and came off so easily that they didn't seem suitable for a hotel. Service was hit and miss: some receptionists were friendly, but the long haired blonde woman shouldn't be working in hospitality. She wouldn't even give us an extra packet of milk for tea. Rooms facing the back street were extremely noisy all night, with street cleaners, cars and people. I'd avoid this hotel.
