Ecosuite Spa

We asked them to clean, and after 30 minutes a young woman turned up with a rag to brush dry leaves off the chairs on the veranda. The suite had cobwebs and dirt everywhere, broken furnishings, and light bulbs that didn't work. On top of that, no one was wearing masks. We decided to leave rather than stay in such awful conditions, so it was really a missed stay. The one good thing was that they granted a full refund without making a fuss. I've traveled a lot and have rarely encountered anything like this, and never had to leave before. It's a shame, because the suites have potential, judging by the website photos, but the reality was completely different.

The hot tub never warmed up, even though we'd requested it be on before we arrived for our anniversary night. We didn't use it, but the only answer was, “I won't charge you for it anymore.” They also wanted to charge us for minibar items we hadn't used. We booked through an operator, and the woman at check-in insisted we pay the price difference from the operator's commission, on top of all the many extras, including parking, which otherwise meant walking from miles away. It's a place that could perhaps be wonderful in more capable hands, but I can only give it two stars.

The sauna was excellent, and so was its price. The eco-friendly soaps and cosmetics were okay. But breakfast wasn't included, even though I thought the price was high. With a bidet in the bathroom, they should provide a bidet towel. I hadn't realized when booking that it was in a campground, and the entrance sign was too small. They also required a €100 damage deposit without having told me through booking. The cabins are wooden, but built from boards made of manufacturing waste. I believe they're heavily treated with synthetic materials, since you can barely see the wood. Thanks for everything.

The room was nicely designed with an eco-friendly, energy-saving theme, and the items in it seemed quite new. But the spa smelled strongly of disinfectant, and it took an hour for the smell to dissipate. The setting wasn't as attractive as the photos online suggested. Four small villas were packed close together, with RV parking sheds on both sides, so there wasn't much scenery. It felt hastily put together, and I don't think the price was worth it. During the off-season, the campsite restaurant and bar are closed, so you have to eat outside. A rating of 3 out of 10 seems fair.
