We had a very unpleasant stay. The rooms are tiny and basic, and so is the bathroom. The online descriptions aren’t accurate. During Design Week, we paid almost €500 per night because demand in Milan was high, though the rate can range from €60 a night, which seems about what it’s worth, to €500. The rooms are at the top of a run-down residential building in a rough area, a few blocks from Milan Central Station. There’s no sign at all to show where the accommodation is. We were lucky the building concierge was there when we arrived and could point us the right way. We ended up here only as a last resort after Booking.com cancelled my fully prepaid accommodation elsewhere. Manager Anastasia was helpful and pleasant, but that couldn’t make up for the many drawbacks.

We found the apartment quickly, even though it’s on the sixth floor of a building and that wasn’t clearly stated anywhere. The owner welcomed us right away and was really nice. It’s about a 45-minute walk to the city center or 10 minutes by metro. Our room was beautiful and roomy enough for two, with a really clean bathroom that had everything we needed. My favorite part was the balcony, with its city view and lovely decor. We had an absolutely amazing stay, and I’d definitely recommend it!

They accept pets of any size, which is a big plus. I was probably lucky to visit outside the busy season, but the price was great. The location is convenient if you’re travelling by train, just 15 minutes on foot from Milano Centrale. The rooms were modern and very clean. The owner was extremely kind and ready to help with anything, from finding nearby dinner options to explaining how to get a tram or call a taxi. You can also have breakfast at a nearby bar.

The room was a decent size and had a good shower, but the rest was awful. The building was odd and difficult to find, with no sign outside, so I had to call for directions. I wouldn’t want to arrive in the dark. The promised daily fruit amounted to one old apple over two days. The roof terrace was uninspiring and on the other side of a communal kitchen. Getting to the sixth floor meant using a tiny lift on the first floor. It was loud outside at night, and the TV turned itself on in the middle of the night. When I had problems during the day, I couldn’t find any staff member.
