Hotel Acapulco

We were very upset by what happened on our first night. Exhausted, we forgot to lock the door, and at 4 a.m. a man we considered suspicious came in, apparently to rob us. We woke up and he didn’t succeed, but the administrative staff never gave us the apology we expected. I was also disappointed by the staff overall: they didn’t speak English, and the room lacked basics like a kettle for tea and coffee and a freezer for water and other supplies. I don’t recommend this place. Be careful in Milan, it can feel quite dangerous.

The room was very clean, and it was what you’d expect from an inexpensive hotel. What really stood out was the wonderful, friendly, generous staff. They went out of their way for us, and it was lovely to have such a kind, genuine interaction despite the language barriers. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Hotel Acapulco.

I really liked the hotel’s vibe, it added to our Milan experience. We stayed several nights and found it very good value for the money. The rooms felt clean and homely. The staff are very kind and speak only a little English, but we managed to communicate even though we don’t speak Italian. I don’t get why people complain that it’s old. If that’s not your thing, there are plenty of chain hotels to choose from.

The neighborhood was quiet, and the metro was about a nine-minute walk away. We stayed for two nights. The room and the shower and bathroom were clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s a very good hotel.
